do not know whether rightly or wrongly, is a decision too subjective, it is certain that the HTC One was one of the best smartphones of the past season, ready to be worthily replaced by the new M8, at least that’s his actual name code.
For now, though, the One is still very topical at the hardware level and is receiving the update to Android 4.4.2 KitKat in these days, even here in Italy. Started in France, with the mobile operator SFR, a few days ago, the update has a weight of about 308 MB, and is broadcast OTA (Over-The-Air) for terminals no brand.
The firmware version is 4.19.401.8 which provides, in addition to the interface HTC Sense 5.5 , security improvements, the new printing services, the new Bluetooth profiles and removes support for Flash Player in the browser (support, however, you can replace without too much trouble).
As usual the roll-out will be gradual so, for those who own a One eye agi updates since, if you have not been notified of the arrival of fresh KitKat, every time could be good.
