Into The “old” but timeless HTC HD2 back to talk about himself to the great potential for supporting the various mobile operating systems. Given that the ‘ HD2 now goes back almost three years and a half ago we can certainly consider it one of the most supported by the community. After the many porting that we could appreciate during these years the good old HTC HD2 can now count on the new OS mobile Mozilla , or Firefox OS .

Into Unfortunately still Firefox OS Mozilla is not very stable and the first tests was considered still very immature and therefore do not expect a porting working perfectly.

Into The project is going very well although still lacks many essential features to take advantage of Firefox OS HD2 as Custom ROM everyday.

Into The tasks still to be finalized are the most important for a smartphone, namely:

Mobile network (the SIM card is not detected)

Sound (when it works, the volume is too low)

Camera (only works sporadically)

Mass Storage

We just have to wait for a more stable and functioning of porting . You can follow the development of Firefox OS for HTC HD2 using the appropriate thread on XDA-Developers forum .
