J One HTC: live photos of the version of HTC One with microSD - HDblog (Blog)

Into SONY DSC

HTC J One was officially introduced yesterday and, though intended to be marketed in the Japanese market presents an interesting change from the version distributed in our country. We refer in particular to the presence of the microSD slot, absent in our model and can expand the internal memory of the terminal up to 64 GB more.

To allow the integration of a microSD slot HTC has had to revise the design of the HTC One, providing a removable backcover and making further adjustments to the remaining part of the internal components.

The first particular different regards the presence of a small physical key sliding on the right side of the terminal:

Speaking on the button it is possible to separate the backcover back which is removable in contrast to that of the model reserved to our market.

Under the cover there are two slots, with a solution that resembles the version of HTC One dedicated to the Chinese market. One of them is that of the microSD slot , while in the Chinese version both are destined to the housing of the SIM card (this is, in fact, a model of dual-SIM).

In the area of ??backcover that surrounds the camera lens is positioned NFC chip :

Another difference with Western version of HTC One is located in the different positioning of the IR transmitter that is not integrated in the power button located on the top edge of the terminal, but just below the camera lens (see small black rectangle in the picture below).

In the face of the ever-welcome opportunity to expand the internal memory HTC J One has a physical key in more on the right edge (with a consequent impact on the design), a removable backcover that may not offer the same strength Our version of the unibody and, finally, a positioning trasmettitoreIR that does not appear as effective as the one built into our HTC One, when you use the terminal as a remote control with the software SenseTv (all remotes are home to the transmitter on the top edge and not in the back).

In the light of these considerations made and taking into account that the 32 GB would be sufficient for most uses, the non-marketing of this version in our country is not so detrimental. To you in any case the last word. One favorite HTC or HTC J One with microSD? (More photos at the link on the source).
