The San Francisco Android User Group will hold a meeting on May 16 which will take part in a trio of developers HTC Dario Laverde, Lance Nanak, and David Wu, the topics of discussion will cover Bluetooth LE and the OpenGL ES 3.0.
The appointment and its contents have spawned in recent hours a new round of speculation about the alleged features of the Android 4.3 operating system, in the light of the fact that the meeting held in conjunction with Google I / O.
Dario Laverde in each case has already cooled the enthusiasm stressing that this feature is already integrated in the terminals HTC.
Laverde intervened to clarify the content of the meeting and to clear up misunderstandings about the alleged revelation of features that will be part of the new release of the Android OS:
To clarify, we have some surprises for the meeting, but we’re not talking about features that are not announced yet – we will demonstrate features and APIs already available with the HTC device
E ‘enough to have followed the events of the last few months HTC to understand how it is one of the priorities of the manufacturer to establish an intense relationship with developers to promote the technology of Bluetooth LE and the new APIs OpenGL ES 3.0 .
In recent months, HTC has had intervened on the subject first, and at another, demonstrating the potential of new graphics library OpenGL ES 3.0 which can be exploited by the Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC 600 HTC ONE.
